My passion is wine! All types, all styles, crafted by premier class wineries who produce honest wines. I’m especially fond of Italian vino, from the Dolomites to Sicily. I’m also crazy in love with the wines of the Iberian Peninsula, Oregon, Champagne and on and on. Perhaps you’ve come here to find bottles you’ve never tried, or maybe for a seasoned veteran’s view. To learn something new, or perhaps school up about a bottling you’ve followed for years but didn’t know much about. I’m here to share the love of all things vinous! Thank you for swinging by, I hope you enjoy this site, and please be sure to sign up by entering your email on the right. For more on moi click here. Cheers!

2017 La Marca di San Michele, Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, Classico Superiore, Capovolto (RT92+) A stunningly pure and elegant Verdicchio crafted using organic farming with some biodynamic practices integrated. This is the work of a small winemaker producing a mere 2000 cases total wine per vintage. Whole cluster fermentation followed by 7 months on lees in stainless and finished with 4 months in bottle. The combination of a perfect vineyard site and deft winemaking result in pure magic. The bouquet is rich and decadent, with hints of soft citrus, white flowers, hazelnuts, and hints of limestone minerality. The texture is mouthcoating and rich leading to an extended finish that’s packed with perfectly ripe fruit. With time in the glass a notable salinity emerges. A rock star that outperforms its price point in a meaningful way! Drink now-2026 Priced in the low-mid $20s
