2023 Clos Ste Magdeleine, Cassis, Blanc (RT94) The 2023 Cassis Blanc carries on the long held traditions of this prolific estate with wines crafted by Aurélie &Jonathon Sack. This winery produces certified organic bottlings, dates back to 1860, and is positioned on a scenic peninsula that extends into the turquoise blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. It is a blend of 40% Marsanne, 30% Ugni blanc, 25% Clairette, 5% Bourboulenc from vines averaging 40 years of age. There is magic in this bottle, as its deep golden hue exudes an amazingly complex and captivating bouquet that draws one deep into your glass. Thunderous deep notes of Meyer lemon liqueur, white peach marmalade, dried clementines, soaring Provence flowers and notes of limestone dust dominate the bouquet.
