2025 Cantine Povero, Roero Arneis DOCG, “Il Canape” (RT91) From a traditional family-owned estate, Povero’s Arneis dates to 1964 and is a superb value in northern Italian whites. Sustainably farmed, the destemmed grapes are aged for 2-3 months in stainless prior to bottling. This pale straw hued wine shows notes of ripe succulent white fruit, Canary melon, white alpine flowers and a whisp of honeysuckle. The palate is bright and packed with fresh fruit and bright acidity which leads to a sublime finish. Serve chilled. Drink now-2030 Tasted June 2026
