2023 Maison de Madeleine, Sancerre, Silex (RT93) The 2023 Silex is the selection of old vines planted from the Ménétréol-sous-Sancerre and Sancerre. Here is found what is arguably Sancerre’s finest terroir which lends itself to long aging. Organic fertilizers and no pesticides are used. Showing a pale-yellow hue notes of delicious ripe yellow stone fruit and waves of floral and mineral notes rise from the glass. This wine is concentrated, balanced and lively on the palate, giving a lovely sensation of freshness with great aromatic persistence! Not to be missed and very well priced for the quality!
