2022 Adelsheim, Pinot Noir, Laurelwood District, Laurel Leaf Vineyard (RT94) Deep, brooding and packed with dark fruit that strikes a thunderous bass note, this is a serious Pinot Noir as notes of black cherry, black berry, cranberry liqueur hints of crisp and dry sous bois, a pinch of dark chocolate and a puff of minerality. The palate if of medium weight showing generous ripe fruit that is buttressed with bright acidity and delicious, lip smacking firm tannins. This impressive single vineyard plot was recently acquired and is a small production bottling that is packaged in both 12 and 6 packs. Aged in 1/3 new French oak for 14 months prior to bottling. Consistent with their modus operandi, this is a LIVE-certified sustainable vineyard located high in the Chehalem Mountains. Drink 2028-2040+ Tasted October 2025
