2019 Battle Creek, Oregon, Pinot Noir, Unconditional (RT91) Winemaker Sarah Cabot has done it again with her workhorse Pinot Noir Unconditional, crafted from fruit blended from various vineyards in the region. This is an aromatically accurate conveyance of Oregon Pinot Noir that reveals a bouquet of ripe strawberry, raspberry, hints of sous bois and a whisp of mushroom. The fruit is a bit more dominant than in the 2018 vintage. The palate is pleasantly fresh and light on its feet, never showing any heavy handiness, and making it a go-to, everyday drinker!
