2010 Cantina Terlan, Alto Adige, Riserva, Nova Domus (RT Flawed, Not Rated) At age 13, this blend of mostly Pinot Blanco with 30% Chardonnay and 10% Sauvignon Blanc, shows a deeply golden hue, signs that this is an advanced bottle. Notes of slightly sour, oxidized, sherried blood orange and almonds dominate the bouquet, but it is clearly premoxed and well beyond its prime drinking window. Everything for this bottle was perfect: the storage, the condition and the cork, but premox happens the even the most perfectly stored bottles. The previous bottle I opened was superb, better luck with the next one. Tasted November 2023
