2019 Rivetto, Langhe Nebbiolo (RT93) Another shining star from the first ever Certified Biodynamic Winery in Barolo, the 2019 is mostly Nebbiolo with a dollop of Barbera. This is a terrific vintage for their Langhe Nebbiolo showing notes of ripe cherry, sumptuous plum, cranberry, anise, dried herbs, and a hint of crushed limestone. The cask aging shines through, giving the wine a full-bodied richness with layers of sumptuous fruit, delicious acidity and sweet tannins. This should age well for the mid-term cellaring.
