1996 Borgogno, Barolo, Storico-Liste (RT93+) From the municipality of Barolo comes this small production single cru bottling, no doubt Borgogno’s flagship Barolo at this time. Here the aromatics are soaring high with notes of balsam, dried white flowers and a Fall cornucopia of fruits. This bottle showed a bit more evolved than previous bottles, but still maintains excellent focus and textural persona. A fine and attractive showing that delivers a long, satisfying finish.
