2019 Castelfeder, Lagrein, Rieder (RT91) This is an excellent vintage for Rieder, as the structure of the vintage reveals its power in this bottling. Notes of pomegranate, dark red cherry, black plum and rocky terroir emerge from the glass. The palate is wound up tightly and can use additional aging to come together. That said, this will be excellent when it emerges from its shell with its terroir and fruit driven bouquet that melds earth and aromatic delights into one. The is a delicious vintage of this wine.
