2018 Castelfeder, Pinot Nero, Glener (RT91) Glen is an historically important vineyard for the winery, ranging from 450 to 790 meters and is located directly above the grand Cru Mazon vineyard. Because of its high elevation it is perfect for the Pinot Nero variety. It shows a medium ruby hue, but remains highly translucent, showing striking aromatics layered with sappy cranberry, strawberry, allspice and clove. With time in the glass notes of dried leaves and hints of smoke emerge. Amply delicious, this is a terrific food wine. Drink now-2025
