2014 Germano, Barolo, Cerretta (RT94) Medium ruby with a translucent garnet halo, the bouquet exudes a sense of structured Barolo with firm notes of red cherry, steely minerality, cedar and a hint of truffle. Smooth, clean and elegant in the mouth, with ample acidity and lovely, ripe tannins on the finish. A very tasty Nebbiolo, the structure out-shows vintage expectations with potential for early long-term cellaring. Drink 2022-2034+
