I’ve always loved this bottling, considering it the very finest Chianti Riserva originating out of Ruffina, and this reminds me why. Captivating aromatic harmony shows notes of mentholated, dusty red bramble berries, Tuscan brush, spice and savory herbs. Showing enormous balance and finesse, the mouthfeel has evolved showing fall red fruits cast in a soft and round persona, lovely acidity, and supple, succulent tannins. A fabulous showing.
