2019 Carpineto, Chianti Classico DOCG (RT91) From the namesake storied winery in the eastern Greve portion of Chianti Classico comes this delicious, classic, traditional Chianti Classico, a blend of 90% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo and some other indigenous varieties. It is aged for 6 months followed by 4-6 months in bottle prior to release. Deeply hued, it wafts up notes of black cherry, violets, Tuscan brush and hints of dry, scruffy fresh tilled earth.
