2015 Poggio del Moro, Rosso Toscana IGP (RT91) An attractive blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese and Syrah, aged in various sized barrels from barrique to 5 HL for one year, then stainless for 6 months followed by 6 months in bottle. The result is a soft, approachably styled day drinker that reveals red cherry, tobacco, sweet Tuscan minerality and hints of dusty spice. The palate is soft, supple, and very enjoyable with accents of gentle acidity and easy-going tannins. Nicely done! Drink now-2025

2015 Poggio del Moro, Colli Senesi DOCG, Chianti Riserva (RT92) This is styled with a slightly international twist given its blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Syrah. The result is a soft, food friendly Riserva, one that pairs wonderfully with hearty pastas, grilled meats and wild game. Seductive notes of sour cherry, Tuscan scruff, spice and a hint of porcini dominates the bouquet. The palate is generously soft, rich, and mature, making this a Riserva that’s best enjoyed in its early days. Easy-going fruit, round acidity, and ripe gentle tannins mark this nicely! Drink now and over the coming 5-8 years.
