From the highest vineyards in all of Barolo comes this true “garagiste” wine. With her vineyards known as Serradenari rising as high as 536 meters, they descend to 450 meters at the Pian delle Mole plot. She produces Nebbiolo, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes with small production wines that embrace highly traditional methods and character. In some vintages she also crafts a gorgeous Barbera. While her family has worked the estate lands producing wine for the past 150 years, her recent foray has brought new focus on the estate. Total production is less than 40,000 bottles and the house style leans toward a highly transparent and traditionally styled wines, featuring soaring aromatics and exotic nuances. Keep an eye on this emerging estate!
