Aged for 5 months prior to bottling, this beautiful expression of 100% Sangiovese is Certified Organic, Certified Vegan and Certified Biodyvin. A seductive, freshly styled expression of Sangiovese, this lovely, translucent wine wafts up notes of red cherry, dried strawberry and hints of cinnamon and clove. Note: I’m not entirely convinced of the age-worthiness of many of the newer amphora-aged wines that are now becoming fashionable and consider them best drunk young while the fruit is fresh and bright. At least until we see what the effects of aging are
